The world's fastest hedgehog is back again in 2-D action joining the Brawl. Sonic the hedgehog is a very unique character. He is a 3rd party character, meaning he isn't from nintendo. People in the world demanded sonic the hedgehog to be in Smash Bros. Brawl. People have been making website request. Pretty soon the next Unofficial Smash Bros. game had been released. Super Smash Flash. This game not only featured sonic, but knuckles, tails, super sonic, etc. America,however, still wasn't satisfied. They want a real, official game. Nintendo had no choice, but to put sonic in their next Smash Bros. game. Known as Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
Sonic the hedgehog plays an important role in the Subspace Emissary. More important than you think. After you have "defeated" Tabuu (the final boss) Tabuu will imply that he hasn't been defeated. He summons a shock wave that will turn all the characters in the world of Smash into trophies. Nobody had time to react. However, randomly out of the blue, errrrr a blue object had hit Tabuu. You see the feet of this strange blue object. They're shoes. Not just any shoes. The shoes that belong to Sonic the Hedgehog. He had defeated Tabuu and saved the world of Smash. It is still unknown how he ended up at the Smash world, but maybe more Sega characters are soon to come.
